Epitaph, Oil & Nails on Wood, 20 x 20cm, 2023

The Epitaph reads;

It is a box of memories which has been discovered deep in the ground. Buried around it are the remains of nature's ruinous tapestry. The rabbits in their warren know that an intruder has entered. The shed skin of a snake once treasured by a child. We are all made up of the memories of relics, which we find amongst the dead leaves. Just below the surface are the stories of everyone and everything that came before us, and we walk the ways they made.
