What does Home mean to you?

Home is comfort, restriction, acceptance, a place of conflicts; love, misunderstanding and forgiveness. It means solitude, it is a refuge where you are led to rest, only to be confronted with yourself.

What does Home look like to you?

Home could look like anything to me, I think its more of a feeling experienced within the environment.

What do your process and or materials look like?

My process looks like chaotic decisions made by a tentative hand.

What is one object that feels like home to you?

Any form of book, I think a book whether its a sketchbook or a novel can escort you from reality to a feeling of Home.

Where do you call home now?

My bedroom and my studio, those are the places where I am able to be vulnerable and without pretence.

What inspires you to create?

So many things! I try to be observant and open to the inspirations that present themselves in my surroundings. Sometimes this is through nature, current affairs, history, books, people I see in the street…literally anything. If something stirs a feeling in me, it will usually find its way into my work.
